New Delhi : Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has dropped another hint where he has assured that he will be playing in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024 season. In a video getting viral on social media, Dhoni can be seen correcting the interviewer where he says he has retired from the cricket. And Dhoni corrects him by saying, he has not retired from cricket instead, he has retired from international cricket.

After this, a loud cheer can be heard from the crowd, hinting that he will be playing in the upcoming season of IPL 2024.

For those who are not aware, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had played 2023 edition of IPL with a knee injury; soon after the IPL ended, he had rushed to Mumbai for the knee surgery. Providing an update on the knee surgery, Mahindra Singh Dhoni said that it will be healed by November.

Earlier, after IPL 2023, Dhoni was asked whether fans would see him in IPL 2024 or not. To which Dhoni replied, “The easy thing would be for me to say ‘Thank you very much’, but the tough thing for me is to work hard for another nine months and come back and play at least one more season of IPL.
