BJP MP slaps wrestler on stage during at a sports event

New Delhi : A BJP MP was caught on camera as he slapped a wrestler on stage during a national championship event in Jharkhand capital Ranchi.

Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, who is also the president of the Wrestling Federation of India, was seen slapping a young wrestler before he left the stage.

He was present at the event as a chief guest on the first day of the Under-15 National Wrestling Championship event at the Shaheed Ganpat Rai Indoor Stadium in Ranchi.

According to a report, the wrestler was not allowed to take part in the competition because he was over age. But he repeatedly insisted the BJP MP to allow him to take part in the competition.

At one time BJP MP lost his cool and slapped him on the stage.
