Maria Sharapova blessed with a baby boy, reveals name on social media

New Delhi : Tennis star Maria Sharapova has been blessed with a baby boy, she announced the news on social media along with a picture of the newborn baby and her husband Gilkes. 

The couple got engaged in 2020 after dating each other for two years.

Sharing the picture with fans on social media, she wrote: "Theodore VII•I•MMXXII 🍼🐣 The most beautiful, challenging, and rewarding gift our little family could ask for."

Sharapova retired from professional tennis in February of 2020 with a career that included 36 career singles titles on the Hologic WTA Tour. She spent 21 weeks at the top of the WTA Tour singles rankings.
