Delhi : China's Vivo smartphone company said on Tuesday that the X100 series will make its debut in India during the first week of January. Vivo is using a separate webpage on its India website to tease the release of new smartphones in the X series. In November, Vivo launched in China the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, which feature the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Later this month, the phones debuted in a few chosen international regions. It is also verified that the chipset and 8T LTPO display are the identical ones that come with the Indian versions. The main selling point of the Vivo X100 series is its cameras. They sport three back cameras, the most prominent of which is a 50-megapixel 1-inch model.

Tech company announced via a media invitation on Tuesday that the Vivo X100 series would debut in India on January 4. Furthermore, Vivo India has launched a new webpage in anticipation of its next series. The Asteroid Black, Startrail Blue, and Sunset colour choices are hinted to be available for the Indian versions of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. Funtouch OS 14, MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, Zeiss-branded triple rear camera units, an IP68-rated design, V3 imaging chip, and 8T LTPO screens are known to be included in them.

Specifications of the Vivo X100 series

Curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz are featured in the Vivo X100 series of devices. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and Vivo's V3 processor power both variants. They have a 32-megapixel selfie camera and three back camera modules with the Zeiss name. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 VCS bionic main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64-megapixel Zeiss super-telephoto camera with a 100x clear zoom comprise the camera combination of the standard Vivo X100.

With OIS support, the Vivo X100 Pro boasts three cameras: a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, a 50-megapixel Zeiss APO super-telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch type sensor. Whereas the Vivo X100 Pro has a 5,400mAh battery with 100W charging and compatibility for 50W wireless charging, the Vivo X100 has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

On the same day that Xiaomi launches the Redmi Note 13 5G series in the nation, the smartphones are expected to make their debut. 

Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro estimated prices

Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are priced in China at CNY 4,999 (about Rs. 56,500) and CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 50,000), respectively. The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro were priced at HK$7,998 (about Rs. 85,224) and HK$5,998 (approximately Rs. 63,917), respectively, when they were first introduced in Hong Kong. It seems likely that the Indian versions would have comparable prices.
