WhatsApp releasing link with number feature on web, check details

Delhi : The famous instant messaging service WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is apparently rolling out a feature that would allow you to link your account to WhatsApp Web simply entering your phone number. This feature makes it possible to connect a WhatsApp Web account to a phone number for the first time.

More users may test out this functionality after installing the most recent WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.14.1.72 update from the TestFlight app, according to WABetaInfo. The report claims that in order to test the "link with phone" number option, you must first enter the linked devices screen. If you select this option, WhatsApp Web will produce an 8-character code for you to enter. 

To finish the process, you must enter this code into WhatsApp after receiving it. According to WABetaInfo's research, the new "link with phone number" feature may be useful in some situations. In the past, some users might have had trouble using WhatsApp Web if their device's camera malfunctioned and they couldn't scan the QR code. The browser might not be able to create the QR code in some other circumstances.

Anyone can now connect to WhatsApp Web thanks to this new capability, even in circumstances where it was previously unavailable. It's important to note that at the moment, this feature only supports WhatsApp Web and does not permit connecting a WhatsApp account to a second mobile device simply by phone number.
