Islamabad : Pakistan police on Saturday evening broke into former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Lahore mansion and recovered assault rifles and ammunition hey the detained over 60 PTI workers accused of resorting to hostilities to obstruct the law. Hey according to local media reports, the move came when Imran Khan was out to attend the Toshkhana case hearing in Islamabad. The motive behind the operation was to clear the area of camps established by the party workers inside the mansion.



In the video shared on social media, the police officials can be seen beating up PTI workers with sticks as they tried to detain them in the mansion.

During the operation, 61 workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party were arrested and about 10 PTI workers and three policemen were injured.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the operation and alleged that Bushra Begum was alone in the House when this operation was conducted. "Under what law the operation was executed?" he asked.

An arrest warrant has already been issued against the Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Toshkhana case where he is alleged of selling the price gifts from foreign guest for his personal benefits.
