Experience BMW's elegance: 220i M performance edition lands in India at Rs 46 lakh
Delhi : The 220i M Performance Edition from BMW is now available in India for the ex-showroom price of Rs 46 lakh. The 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition is a limited-edition car that costs Rs 50,000 more than the 220i M Sport Pro trim. It is only supplied with a petrol engine and is only provided through the BMW Online store.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance Edition is much more than a typical sports coupé, according to Vikram Pawah, President of BMW Group India, who was speaking during the introduction. The BMW M Performance components provide drivers the chance to show their love of dynamism and uniqueness while bringing the excitement and flavor of M to the streets.
New look for the BMW 220i M Performance Edition
The 220i M Performance Edition stands out stylistically from the ordinary model thanks to its Cerium Grey wing mirrors and iconic BMW front kidney grille. Additionally, the M Performance decals on the fenders provide uniqueness. This limited-edition model is only offered with an exterior color of Sapphire Black.
On the other hand, the inside features a beige and black dual-tone concept. Door pins, door projectors, and an Alcantara gear selection lever are all distinctive M Performance features found inside the cabin. The remainder of the interior is the same as that of the regular 2 Series Gran Coupe.
Features of the BMW 220i M Performance Edition
For the rear passengers, BMW provides the 220i M Performance with its exclusive Sport Seats, which include memory features. It has two 10.25-inch screens, one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument panel, both of which use BMW's Virtual Assistant.
A 10-speaker music system, ambient lighting with six customizable patterns, a reverse parking camera, a head-up display, and a wireless charger are just a few of the additional noteworthy features. Six airbags, three-point seat belts for every passenger, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchors, and run-flat tires are included in the safety package.
Engine details for the BMW 220i M Performance Edition
A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 176 bhp and 280 Nm of maximum torque powers the BMW 220i M Performance Edition. A 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox manages the transmission. It has paddle shifters for manual control to improve driver involvement.
Performance-wise, it is reported to be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. You may pick between the ECOPRO, Comfort, and Sport riding variants.
