Mercedes AMG G63 'Edition 463' and AMG GLS 63 launched in India Prices start from ₹ 1.58 Crore

Dehradun : Mercedes-Benz, a luxury car maker brand, on Wednesday launched two SUVs – Mercedes AMG G 63 ‘Edition 463’ priced at Rs 2.17 crore and Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 with a price tag of Rs 1.58 crore (ex-showroom Pune).

The new Mercedes AMG G 63 has been equipped with supercharged 5.5 litre V8-petrol engine and accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.4 seconds. It has an electronically limited top speed of 210 kmph. 

The new SUV contains features such as off-road reduction gear and electronic traction system enhancing capabilities. It is set apart by its 21-inch five twin spoke alloys with a glossy rim flange and the AMG strips on the sides.

It comes with a chrome bumper guard and a stainless-steel under ride guard along with grey inserts in the side moulds for a meaner look. The car is a special edition; it comes with muscular boxy styling of G-Wagen.

Mercedes-Benz India said in a statement that the launch boosts the company’s presence in the performance SUV segment and takes Mercedes-Benz’s SUV portfolio to eight products.

Mercedes-Benz is a global automobile manufacturer and a division of the German company Daimler AG. The brand is best known for its luxury vehicles, buses, coaches and trucks.
