New Swift Dzire launched in India: Check price and features
New Delhi : The much awaited brand new version of famous sub-four meter sedan Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire has been launched in India, keeping an eye to boost sales in a segment it already excels.
The car has been launched at an attractive price of Rs INR 5.45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the base petrol LXi variant while the top-end ZDi + AGS variant is priced at INR 9.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Based on the same platform as of Baleno, the new version weighs 105 kg less than the outgoing version.
The booking for the car will start soon and will be available at a sum deposit of just Rs 11,000. All thanks to its light weight, Swift Dzire is the most fuel efficient sedan in the price range.
The diesel version of car produces 28.4 kmpl while the petrol iteration delivers 22 kmpl.
Design:
The new car gives more feeling of a sedan than the older one. The front profile is highlighted by a chrome-lined hexagonal grille along with vertical chrome slats. The grille is flanked by LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights and new fog lamp enclosures with some added chrome jazz.
The car has been studded with a diamond cut 15-inch alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and ORVM mounted turn indicators.
On the rear, bumpers have been made wide to give it a look of a wider car.
In the interior, the car has been refreshed completely; be it squarish AC vents or the dashboard, the car looks fresh and high notch from the inside too.
