Delhi : The BYD 2023 Dolphin was introduced by the BYD electric vehicle manufacturer, which is financed by Warren Buffett. The electric vehicle has the "Marine Aesthetics" design from the business. It has 7.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 kmph when fueled by LFP Blade batteries.

China is the only place where it is now sold. Starting at CNY 1,16,800, or about Rs. 13.9 lakh, it is available. Costing CNY 1,36,800 (about Rs. 16.3 lakh), the top-end variant of the vehicle. No information is available on the company's plans to introduce the BYD 2023 Dolphin electric car to India, nor is there a release date.

Features of the BYD 2023 Dolphin electric vehicle

The BYD 2023 Dolphin electric vehicle is expected to have a slick appearance according to Chief Designer Wolfgang Egger's "Marine Aesthetics" language. The car measures 4070x1770x1570mm and has a 2700mm wheelbase. Depending on the model, the wheels will be 16 or 17 inches. The electric automobile is available in the colours Pupu Pink, Beibei Grey, Cheese Yellow, Surfing Blue, Atlantis Grey, Taro Purple, and Black.

The front permanent magnet synchronous motor of the electric vehicle provides power. There will be two output choices available, with cruising ranges of 420 km and 401 km for each of the two engines (70 kW/180 Nm and 130 kW/290 Nm). Each model is said to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 and 7.5 seconds, respectively.

The 44.9 kWh BYD LFP Blade battery pack is connected to the engine of the BYD Dolphin electric vehicle. The EV is compatible with 60kW rapid charging.

The BYD Dolphin EV's interior has a 12.8-inch floating centre control screen, a 5-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a steering wheel with a flat bottom and several functions. The electric car has amenities like front seat heating, a passenger seat that is electrically adjustable in four directions, a driver seat that is electronically adjustable in six directions, and a centre armrest with a cup holder in the back.

A front parking radar, motorized outside mirrors, real-time pressure monitoring, and a seatbelt warning light are further features.
