Delhi : The 9th generation Camry has been revealed by Toyota. Only a hybrid engine with front-wheel or all-wheel drive will be offered for the well-liked sedan. A 2.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol hybrid engine and an electronically controlled continuously variable gearbox power the Toyota Camry (eCVT). A total of 222 BHP is produced by the two electric motors in the front-wheel drive variant. An extra motor-generator is added to the back axle of the all-wheel drive variant, increasing total output to 229 horsepower.

Significant alterations have also been made to the Camry's appearance by Toyota. The nose portion has been updated with elegant U-shaped LED trademark lights, but the enormous trapezoidal grille has remained.

Higher trim levels of the Camry receive 12.3-inch screens along with a 10-inch head-up display, while the base model has an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster. cordless charging, a nine-speaker JBL audio system, and cordless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are among the other amenities. The 2018 Camry has a redesigned suspension system but is still built on the same TNGA-K chassis as the previous model. Toyota says the modifications have improved the vehicle's agility and responsiveness.

Additionally, the Camry has Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 installed, which offers a range of safety features like automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure assist, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian recognition, and rear cross-traffic warning. On higher models, an optional package that includes traffic jam assist, front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, panoramic view monitor, and front and rear parking assist with automated braking is available.

The base price of a Toyota Camry is Rs. 46.17 Lakh, while the most expensive variant is Rs. 46.17 Lakh. There is just one Camry model available: the 2.5 Hybrid basic model and the premium Toyota Camry 2.5 Hybrid model.
