Facebook to rebrand Instagram, WhatsApp

New Delhi : Social media giant Facebook has confirmed that they will be rebranding their two famous products – Instagram and WhatsApp. Confirming the news, Facebook said that soon, Instagram will be known as “Instagram from Facebook” while WhatsApp will become “WhatsApp from Facebook.”

"We want to be clearer about the products and services that are part of Facebook,” a spokesperson told The Information.

According to the official spokesperson, the names of the application on your smartphone will remain the same. However, the rebranded names will appear on the play store and app store.

The company is yet to announce the date from when the changes will come to effect.
