Navin Agarwal's commendable entrepreneurial streak helps him go miles in his career

New Delhi : The world of entrepreneurship has seen many successes, but one name needs special mentions as he has done exceedingly well around this space, having conquered unknown territories and making them shine bright, we are talking about Navin Agarwal, an entrepreneur par excellence who has managed to hold the reins of multiple businesses, having graced success in all, which has quite impressive. Coming from a small town called Bhusawal in Maharashtra, this man wrote his own success story in the city of dreams - Mumbai. Let's take a peek at his entrepreneurial journey so far.

Navin's family have always been into the gold business since ages and that was expected by him to follow, taking the family business forward, but he had other plans in his mind which made him change the course of his life. Coming from a small town, there was no scope of expanding business there, says the fine entrepreneur, who started to assist his father in the family's gold business after finishing his graduation in commerce. However, he wanted to go that extra mile and expand his business further, which was limited in his area of work. To further fuel his entrepreneurial ambitions, he set out to make his mark by moving out to Mumbai, the hub of business activities, and he's glad he took this wise decision which catapulted his career skywards going ahead in life.

"I started a gold export business in partnership with my friend in Mumbai, which was largely successful, still there was something more I wanted to achieve which led me to think out of the box, looking for opportunities which went beyond my field expertise," says Navin. Fortunately, he was offered partnership in a restaurant business in 2016, which he took, despite having zero knowledge about this space. The desire to do something big encouraged him to step out of his comfort zone and try his luck at wider avenues. 'Tamasha' was his first restaurant which was followed by the formation of his next company in partnership named 'First Fiddle', under which he established numerous other brands like Lord of the Drinks, JLWA and Flying Saucer, which were runaway successes.

Today, he is in charge of his entrepreneurial empire, which he manages with pride. "There's still a lot more to achieve, and this is just the beginning," claims the fine restaurateur.
