Mumbai University reduces re evaluation fees by 50 per cent

Mumbai University

New Delhi : In a big relief to the students, the Mumbai University has reduced the re-evaluation fees by 50 per cent.

With this students will have to pay only Rs 250 instead of earlier fee of Rs 500. An additional cost of Rs 50 will be charged if the students asks for a print out of the answer sheet in the revaluation process instead of the earlier fee of Rs 100.

The decision comes in the wake of delay in the announcement of the Mumbai University exam results and the hasty online assessment process that instilled a fear of errors in paper correction among students.

Students had registered their concern over the exam result checking process and were fearing if the machine can do it correctly under a very tight deadline.

How the re-evaluation will be done:

A circular from the MU stated that the answer sheets for revaluation will be sent to various teachers at their respective colleges and institutions. Therefore the teachers will not be required to come to the Central Assessment Process (CAP) centre. The digital image of answer sheets will also be sent via email to respective students.
