NEET in Tamil: CBSE blames TN government over translation troubles

New Delhi : The CBSE blamed Tamil Nadu Government for problems faced by the students who wrote their NEET examination in Tamil this year.

Answering a question raised in Rajya Sabha on Thursday, Human Resource development minister Prakash Javadekar said, "Since this matter is in the court, I won’t say much. This year the translation was done by Tamil Nadu officials. Next year, we will take measures."

Tamil Students had faced trouble this year due to wrong translation of most of the questions. The Madurai High Court recently directed CBSE to give Tamil Nadu students a grace mark of 196. 

The case is now pending in Supreme Court.
