New Delhi : Famous Kannada actor and comedian Mohan Juneja passed away on Saturday (May 7) after battling prolonged illness. He was 54 years old.

According to media reports, he had stopped responding to the treatment and later died at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Mohan was last seen in the recently released movie KGF Chapter 2.

KGF Chapter 2 movie production house paid him tribute on Twitter. "Our heartfelt Condolences to actor Mohan Juneja's family, friends & well-wishers. He was one of the best-known faces in Kannada films & our KGF family," wrote Hombale films.

Mr Mohan has acted in more than 100 movies in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, as well as Hindi in a career that spanned over a decade.
