Simmba trailer: Ranveer Singh's cop avatar is no Robinhood, but has Singham

New Delhi : Much awaited trailer for Ranveer Singh's upcoming movie Simmba has been released by the makers.

Ajay Devgn, who had played the character of 'Singham' in Rohit Shetty's movie, introduces Ranveer Singh as Simbaa in this one. Bringing another story from Shivgadh while Singham was busy cleansing the place, Rohit Shetty presents the tale of a boy who joins police as a bad cop but circumstances lead him in becoming a good cop.

Ranveer Singh's bad-cop-turned-good character is a sure shoot hooter and whistle winner. The story looks like a fight against the rapists in the area.

Ajay Devgn keeps giving surprises in the short clip. First he starts in his trademark Singham style and in the end he comes to the rescue of Simmba when he gets caught by the local goons.

Sara Ali Khan is playing the character of leading lady in the movie and the trailer gives a little glimpse of her romance with Simmba.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba will hit the silver screens on December 28. It is the first time Ranveer Singh has worked with Rohit Shetty and this is also Sara Ali Khan's second movie in Bollywood post Kedarnath.
