Varun, Kirti, Anupam Kher joins actors demanding CBI probe in Sushant Rajput's death

Mumbai : After Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, emphasized on the importance of a CBI probe into the death of her brother, several Bollywood personalities have also offered their support to the cause on social media.

Actors Varun Dhawan, Sooraj Pancholi and Parineeti Chopra were among those who posted Instagram stories calling for a CBI inquiry into Sushant’s death.

On Thursday, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti made a video appeal to all the fans for a CBI inquiry for her brother. Sharing her video on Instagram, she wrote, “We stand together as a nation for CBI Enquiry! Demanding an unbiased investigation is our right and we expect nothing but the truth to come out. 🙏 #CBIForSSR #Warriors4SSR #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput @PMOIndia @narendramodi @AmitShah”

In the clip, Shweta said with folded hands, “I am Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti and I request everyone to stand together and demand a CBI enquiry for Sushant. We deserve to know the truth. We deserve justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. Otherwise, we will never find closure, we won’t be able to live a peaceful life.”

Post her video, Sushant’s co-star Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram story and wrote, “I Pray that the truth comes out SOON..His family, his friends, fans and all loved ones deserve this closure.. I hope and pray that the CBI takes over the case so that it’s investigating without any political agendas, in the TRUE sense, to provide justice to the family!! Its high time his soul rests in peace! #CBIForSSR #SushantSinghRajput”

Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande also shared a video and demanded CBI inquiry.
