Mumbai : Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan, actress Sridevi died at an age of 54. Described as "Actor-MOM-Housewife-Actor Again!" on Twitter, She had worked in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. She was in Dubai to attend a family wedding with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi.
She had started her career as a child artiste, and grew up to be one of the biggest female stars India ever had. The government of India awarded her Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour, in 2013.
