New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday attended the lavish wedding reception party by Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli in New Delhi.

The couple was greeted with roses on the stage by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Watch video: 

Virat and Anushka had personally visited PM's residence in New Delhi to invite him for the wedding reception.

Now, the couple will throw a second post wedding reception in Mumbai on December 26.

Virat married his Bollywood actress girlfriend Anushka on December 11 in Italy. The news of their marriage had taken most of the cricketing world by surprise. It was a close-knit ceremony attended by close family and friends only.
