Welcome to the club: Anushka Sharma to Sonam Kapoor

Mumbai : Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied knot on May 8 in a traditional Sikh ceremony in Mumbai; celebrities from the tinsel town poured them in congratulatory wishes on social media.

Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to wish the newly-weds and wrote, "Happiness, love & a lifetime of joy to you both @sonamakapoor & @anandahuja & Welcome to the club! It's such a beautiful journey of life, love & growth. (sic)"

According to reports, Anushka Sharma failed to make it to Sonam Kapoor's marriage as she is busy shooting for Anand L Rai’s upcoming movie in the United States.

Sonam's cousin Janhvi Kapoor also wished the couple on social media. Janhvi shared a picture from the wedding on Instagram and captioned it with a heart emoticon.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding was attended by Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rani Mukerji and others.

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be seen next in upcoming movie "Veerey Di Wedding" that will release on June 1 in India.
