Deadpool2, the R-rated movie has won a whopping amount of $301.3 million, till now

New Delhi : The American superhero film is making millions in the movie market. Though Deadpool 2 didn't mark a record opening in its country, its record worldwide is quite impressive. Till date, the R-rated movie has won a whopping amount of $301.3 million and is expecting more in its wallet.

It was presumed that Deadpool 2 would set a record opening for an R-rated film after bringing in a pair of R-rated records with $18.6 million from Thursday previews and a $53.3 million opening day. However, no one could guess that the Sci-Fi film will still remain impressive to collect $125 million on the third day of its launch. It has thus become the second largest R-rated opening ever behind the original's version which won $132.4 million two years ago. The current movie is considered as the second largest Fox Production company.

Deadpool 2 scored grade "A" in CinemaScore and actually twisted just a bit older than the first one which attracted audience more than before. Deadpool 2 suits the gender lines and critics believe that audience can be categorised into 61% male and 39% female.

Deadpool's success is not limited to its launch in 81 markets internationally and brought in an estimated $176.3 million, a record overseas debut for Fox International, topping the $174 million. The original Deadpool was not launched in China until finally premiering last month at the Beijing International Film Festival, and currently, the sequel doesn't have a release date scheduled for the Middle Kingdom. Further, the movie has record breaking openings for Fox in Mexico ($10m), India ($6.29m), Indonesia ($4.7m), Thailand ($3.4m), Vietnam ($2m) and Chile ($1.9m).
