Prabhas not roped in for Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible 7

Mumbai : Reports claiming that actor Prabhas bagged a key role in the upcoming action movie Mission Impossible 7 have been rejected by director Christopher McQuarrie. 

"We have never met," Christopher McQuarrie explained in his answer to a question asked on social media.

One of the Twitter users had asked Chris, "@chrismcquarrie there is a viral news trending on Indian news channels that an Indian actor named Prabhas has been roped in 'MI7' for a key role. Can you please confirm whether it is true or not?"

Mission Impossible 7 stars Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett and Frederick Schmidt reprising their roles from the previous films.

This is the third movie of the series that has been directed by McQuarrie. 'Mission: Impossible 7' is slated to release in May 2022.
