Renowned Gujarati writer Taarak Mehta passes away

Ahmedabad : Noted Indian writer and coloumnist – Tarak Mehta – has passed away at the age of 87 after prolonged illness. He was famous for his column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma' in Gujarati language.

Famous TV serial 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma', started in 2008, derives its content from his columns. Popularity of the show gives a correct measure of how great Mr Tarak Mehta was with his writing skills.
