Centre denies receiving proposal for free rides for women in Delhi

New Delhi : The Centre said in Lok Sabha that it has not received any proposal from the Delhi government offering free rides to women in the national capital.

Housing and urban affairs minister Hardeep Puri told the Parliament with a written reply to Saugata Roy in the Lok Sabha.

The minister also mentioned that the Centre does not have any proposal to provide free ride to women in Delhi Metro trains.
