Finally! Ashram underpass to open in Delhi next week

New Delhi : Commuters in Delhi have been waiting for the official opening of Ashram underpass for people and a report now suggest that it will be open for public by the next week.

Last Month, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had said that the construction work at 750-meter long underpass is almost complete and it should open for public by March 22.

CM Arvind Kejriwal had laid the foundation stone of the underpass on December 24, 2019. Then it was claimed that the underpass work will be completed within one year.

The deadlines have been missed for the underpass several times due to coronavirus lockdown and then ban imposed on construction activities.

The estimated cost of the underpass is about 78 crores.
