Former MP DP Yadav gets life imprisonment

CBI Court in Dehradun sentenced DP Yadav to life imprisonment
Mr Yadav is a former Member of Parliament from UP
He has been found guilty in a murder case of former MLA Mahendra Singh Bhati
The verdict came in his absence due to medical reasons
Karan Yadav, Praneet Bhatti and Pal Singh are the other three accused
They had surrendered on February 28
Yadav, Karan Yadav and Bhatti have been convicted under sections 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 326 (causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC
Bhati was gunned down near Dadri on September 13, 1992
