Hardik Patel resigns from Congress ahead of Gujarat elections

Ahmedabad : Ahead of crucial Gujarat elections, Hardik Patel has given a shocker to Congress party with his resignation. He announced his decision to leave the party on Twitter.

'I hope my decision will have no effect on people who support me," he said while making the announcement.

It must be noted that he was not happy with Congress since past some time, he had also notified his anger but no-one took any action on his unhappiness. Recently, he had removed Congress leader from the info of his Twitter profile.

So far it is not clear whether he will be joining hands with Bharatiya Janata Party or Aam Aadmi Party for the upcoming elections.
