Health Minister visits AIIMS to check health of former PM Manmohan Singh

New Delhi : Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday visited All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to check on PM Manmohan Singh, who was admitted there on Wednesday after complaint of fever and weakness.

"He was admitted for evaluation of fever; his condition is stable," an official of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences or AIIMS told news agency PTI.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also wished him a speedy recovery. "I pray for the good health and speedy recovery of Dr Manmohan Singh Ji," PM Modi tweeted.

This is the second time this year when Manmohan Singh has been admitted to the hospital. Earlier, he was admitted to the hospital after he had tested negative for coronavirus.
