In UP, a drunk trucker drags car for 3 kilometres

New Delhi : In Uttar Pradesh, a drunk truck driver was seen dragging a car for about a three kilometres and stopped only after a brief chase by the cops.

A video of the incident showing the truck dragging Chevrolet Beat car at the front is now getting viral on social media. It has been learned that there were four occupants in the car and they managed to escape from the vehicle in time before the trucker started dragging the car.

According to media reports, it has been learned that the car was dragged for about 3 kilometres. The locals were seen shouting to the truck driver to stop the vehicle, but the truck was stopped only after the police intervened and gave a chase to him. The driver, who was reportedly intoxicated, has been arrested by the police.

The reports claim that the drag started after an altercation between the car occupants and the truck driver.

As the driver tried to make an escape with car getting dragged in front of the truck, the car occupants jumped off the vehicle and saved their lives.
