Kejriwal insulted people from UP and Bihar in Delhi as "Fake Voters": JP Nadda

New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda on Thursday attacked former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for insulting people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar as "fake voters". He assured that people in Delhi will give him a befitting reply for this in the upcoming elections in the national capital.

In a twitter post, JP Nadda also blamed Arvind Kejriwal for creating a disaster of corruption in past decade.

"Arvind Kejriwal, who has been looting Delhi for the last 10 years by creating a disaster of corruption, started fearing defeat and he got agitated and started making baseless statements against our brothers and sisters of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar," he said.

"Kejriwal has insulted our people from UP and Bihar by calling them fake voters. The people of Delhi will definitely give him a reply by uprooting him from power," Nadda added.

It must be noted that a delegation of AAP leaders had met the election commission on Wednesday claiming irregularities in the upcoming Delhi Elections. They claimed that suddenly the number of voters have increased significantly in the national capital. AAP Chief also alleged that from December 15 to January 8, 13,000 new voter applications were received.

He raised questions on how so many people have arrived in Delhi suddenly and claimed irregularities happening by calling them fake voters from UP and Bihar.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that Arvind Kejriwal and AAP have a history of disrespecting the people from UP, Bihar and Jharkhand.

“How did you (Arvind Kejriwal) dare to call people from UP, Bihar, Jharkhand as fake…The promises of Arvind Kejriwal and AAP are fake…The people of Purvanchal will take revenge on 5th February,” Tiwari said.
