Over 50 infants die in Jharkhand within 30 days

Ranchi : More than 50 infants have died in Jamshedpur’s Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College (MGM) hospital in Jharkhand within last 30 days, reports news Agency ANI.

Malnutrition has been cited as the prime reason behind the deaths. The death incidents have increased fear amongst the parents who have their kids admitted in the hospital.

The Jharkhand government has not reacted yet over the incident that is giving nightmares to many.

Recently, over 70 children had died at Gorakhpur's Baba Raghav Das (BRD) Medical College hospital within a week. In the initial reports it has been claimed that the reason behind the deaths is lack of oxygen.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered probe in the matter.
