Petrol prices go up by Rs 3.13, diesel shoots up by Rs 2.71 per litre

New Delhi : On a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government completes one year of being elected as the major party, petrol and diesel prices witnessed a hike of Rs 3.13 and Rs 2.71 respectively. This was second hike in last 15 days.

Petrol and Diesel prices hiked by Rs 3.13 and Rs 2.71 per litre respectively
New prices will be effective from May 16
On May 1, the prices were hiked by Rs 3.96 and Rs 2.37 per litre for petrol and diesel respectively
New price in Delhi: Petrol - Rs 66.29, Diesel - Rs 52.28 per litre
The hike came due to steep hike in international oil prices
