Rape case: Sacked AAP leader Sandeep Kumar arrested in Delhi

New Delhi : Sacked Aam Aadmi Party leader Sandeep Kumar has been arrested in Delhi on alleged rape charges by a woman, who appeared before Sultanpuri police and filed a FIR against him with an allegation of raping her.

# Cops on Saturday evening nabbed sacked MLA Sandeep Kumar on rape charges alleged by a woman.

# The woman claimed that she approached Sandeep Kumar for ration card and then was trapped by him.

# She mentioned in her complaint that the minister took her to an unknown place drugged her and then raped her.

# Claiming that the 11-month-old was taped on a hidden camera, section 376 (rape) and 328 (poisoning) of IPC besides section 67A of the IT Act (publishing or transmitting sexually explicit content) and section 7 (public servant taking gratification other than legal remuneration in respect of an official act) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, have been
imposed on the minister.
