Mumbai : Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Sunday tweeted a video of Aryan Khan in NCB custody and alleged that this is an attempt to defame Maharashtra.

"Witness in Aryan Khan case made to sign on blank paper by NCB is shocking. Also, there are reports that there was a demand for huge money. CM Uddhav Thackeray said that these cases are made to defame Maharashtra. This seems to be coming true. Police should take suo moto cognizance", he tweeted sharing the video.

In the 12-second long video clip, Aryan Khan can be seen talking to KP Gosavi, one of the nine independent witnesses who is currently absconding.

The video comes at a time when war of words is on as the political parties have alleged BJP of trying to defame the state.

NCB had arrested Aryan Khan and 8 others from a rave party near Mumbai. All of them are currently under judicial custody till October 30.
