IPS Officer to continue fight against Mulayam Singh even after suspension

Lucknow : Even after suspension, IPS officer Amitabh Thakur doesn't seem to end his battle against Samajwadi party chief Mulayam Singh.

Woman, who had alleged rape over Amitabh, has recorded her statement before magistrate.

Thakur was suspended by UP government over the charges of dereliction of duty, indiscipline, arbitrariness, adopting an anti-establishment approach and flouting high court orders.

Mulayam Singh is facing the storm after Mr Thakur claimed that he got life threat from SP chief and was told mend his ways.

Apparently, threat came after his wife, an RTI activist, made an effort to expose the illegal mining and the alleged role of "Mulayam's blue-eyed boy" Gayatri Prasad Prajapati, who is the mines minister.
