It was getting difficult to run coalition in Bihar: Nitish Kumar post resignation

Nitish Kumar explains his resignation as Bihar Chief Minister

Patna : After resigning as Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar explained reasons behind his decision to submit his papers to state governor K N Tripathi.

"Amid ongoing circumstances in Bihar government, it became impossible to run the grand alliance in the state," said Nitish Kumar after resigning from his post.

He adds: "After serious allegations on Tejashwi Yadav, we asked him to explain himself but he came up with no reply. RJD maintained that nothing has gone wrong but did not explain anything over it."

Nitish Kumar claimed that since it was getting difficult to run the government in Bihar with no clarity from inside members, he was left with one option to quit.

As per latest report, Nitish Kumar's resignation has been accepted by the governor.
