PM Narendra Modi congratulates Nitish Kumar, says India is proud over his fight against corruption

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday congratulated Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on joining the fight against corruption by submitting his resignation.

Nitish Kumar submitted his resignation to the governor on Wednesday evening and quoted that amid ongoing circumstances it was getting difficult for him to run the 22-month long grand alliance.

He claimed that after his numerous attempts on Tejashwi Yadav's explanation, he was left with no option than to resign.
