New Delhi : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi issued a fresh attack on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, saying that he does not listen to the voice of people. Rahul Gandhi expressed his opinion on Twitter.

"Telangana is ruled not by a CM, but by a Raja who doesn't listen to the voice of the people," wrote Rahul Gandhi on Twitter.

Rahul Gandhi also mentioned what Congress had done as soon as they had come to power in the state. He had also appealed people to join Congress in defeating the current Telangana government.

Addressing a public rally at Telangana, Rahul Gandhi said that his mother Sonia Gandhi had seen a dream for Telangana and gave it a statehood, but the party was hurt electorally.

He promised to work with and for the people of Telangana in the coming years.
