Rahul Gandhi redefines 'SCAM', slams PM Narendra Modi

Rahul Gandhi's definition of SCAM

Kanpur : On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi equated SCAM with the new Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance in Uttar Pradesh; reacting sharply to it Rahul Gandhi, on Sunday, redefined the meaning.

Mr Gandhi at a rally in Kanpur said, "Whenever Modi is nervous, he starts giving labels PPE, ABC, DEF, GHY. Now this SCAM... A person who is in the wrong sees scam everywhere because this is his reality." SP president and UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, who was addressing a joint rally with Rahul in Kanpur, said the acronym SCAM stood for "save the country from Amit Shah and Modi".

He went a step ahead and elaborated the word SCAM as "S stands for 'service', C for 'courage', A for 'ability' and M for 'modesty'."

Rahul Gandhi urged voters to repeat what Bihar did to the coalition government and not let BJP come to power.
