Rahul Gandhi require binoculars to find Congress ruled states: BJP

New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday expressed confidence of winning the upcoming 2019 General Elections with more than 50 per cent votes.

The saffron party president Amit Shah claimed that despite opposition doing mahagathbandhan, BJP will manage to secure over 50 per cent votes and stay in power.

"The reason is simple. They don’t have any other agenda except bringing down the Narendra Modi government, while the BJP is going to polls on the plank of development and building a strong and secure nation. While Modi called for Make In India, the Congress and its allies want breaking India. The people will obviously choose the BJP," Amit Shah said.

Slamming Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Mr Shah said that the opposition leader will require a binoculars to locate the Congress ruled states on the map of India.

"Congress president Rahul Gandhi had to look at the country’s map using binoculars to search for the states where it is in power. And after 2019, he would need more powerful binoculars," Amit Shah said.

Commenting on Rahul Gandhi's dream to become a Prime Minister, he said, "Unfortunately, his own alliance partners — Sharad Pawar, Akhilesh Yadav and Mamata Banerjee — have refused to acknowledge his leadership. Entire country knows he is not a PM face."
