Watch: BJP worker slapped Hardik Patel in Gujarat

Ahmedabad : Gujarat's star campaigner and Congress leader Hardik Patel was on Friday slapped by a BJP worker during a public meeting in Surendranagar district of Saurashtra region. 

The BJP worker has been identified as Tarun Gajjar.

At a time when Hardik Patel was addressing the people, Gajjar climbed up to the stage and hurled slap on his face.

He was immediately brought down by some persons and thrashed. He was taken to a police station where Mr. Patel lodged a complaint.

Hardik Patel had officially joined Congress last month.
