Bagri Market fire now under control

Kolkata : The Bagri Market fire that broke out on Sunday in Kolkata's Burrabazar area is now under control, the Fire Department said on Wednesday.

"At the moment, everything is under control and the process of cooling down is on," an official said.

Business was affected ahead of the onset of the festive season when a fire burnt at least 1,000 establishments inside a building on Sunday.
