Barcelona B-team joins in training for 2nd week of pre-season

Sant Joan Despi (Spain) : Barcelona's B-team joined the first team at Wednesday's training, the second week of pre-season practice held at the club's Joan Gamper Sports City here.

The first practice of the day -- open to the press for 15 minutes -- included all the Barcelona players who did not take part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, joined on the pitch by eight members of Barcelona B, reports Efe.

Head coach Ernesto Valverde is to hold a second closed-door practice later Wednesday, gearing up for Barça's friendly match on July 29 against Tottenham Hotspur, their first opponent of the United States-based International Champions Cup.
