Belgium remains atop FIFA men's ranking, Portugal moves up

Madrid : Belgium's national football team remained atop of the FIFA men's world ranking for November with 1727 points, followed closely by France in second place, while Spain continues to occupy the ninth position, the international governing body announced on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Portugal moved up one place and currently holds the sixth spot, displacing Uruguay back to seventh after La Celeste lost eight points, reports Efe news.

In Latin America, Argentina and Colombia also exchanged their previous spots, with the Albiceleste moving up to the 11th place, displacing Los Cafeteros to the 12th position.

Sweden, who won the UEFA Nations League B Group 2, were promoted to League A and climbed three places up in the recent FIFA ranking to share the 14th spot with the Netherlands.

Sweden and Netherlands, have now displaced Germany and Mexico to the 16th and 17th positions, respectively.
