Two held with cannabis valued at Rs 10 lakh

Siliguri (West Bengal) : Two persons were arrested here with 200 kg of ganja (cannabis) valued at Rs 10 lakh, police said on Sunday.

Rameshwar Majhi and Anil Kumar Roy were arrested on Saturday while they were on their way to Chhapra in Bihar from Cooch Behar in West Bengal's Cooch Behar district.

The cannabis was hidden inside the vehicle they were in. Having procured the contraband from Cooch Behar, they were on their way to deliver it to Chhapra.

Both are residents of Chhapra and were remanded to custody by a court.
