Valencia's Rodrigo downplays Man-U woes ahead of Champions clash

Manchester : Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno has said that his team can't afford to be distracted by Manchester United's crisis as they prepare for a Champions League match here against the Red Devils.

United have first-class players experienced in coping with adversity and Valencia must focus on their own performance if they hope to win, Rodrigo told a press conference at Old Trafford on Monday.

Winless in their last three matches, the Red Devils were stunned here last Saturday by West Ham United, who prevailed 3-1.

Man United lead Champions League Group H by virtue of a better goal difference than Juventus. Valencia are third after losing their first match.

Morale is high in the Valencia dressing room after the club got their first victory of the La Liga season last Saturday against Real Sociedad, Rodrigo said.

Winning "is always synonymous with confidence," the Spain international said.
