CM Sukhu releases Poetry Collection ‘Buransh: The Fragrance of Words’ by Anupama Sharma
New Delhi : Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu released the poetry collection ‘Buransh: The Fragrance of Words’ authored by young poet and educator Anupama Sharma from Hamirpur, at a program held in Shimla. Anupama Sharma is a teacher by profession and currently serving as an English Lecturer at Government Senior Secondary School (Girls), Hamirpur.
CM Sukhu described the collection as an emotional journey that delves into the inner layers of the soul, expressed beautifully through poetry. Appreciating her creativity, the Chief Minister said that Anupama’s poems deeply touch human emotions and beautifully portray self-reflection, and the hope of new beginnings in the lap of nature.
The 56-page collection features a total of 39 poems. It has been published by Satluj Prakashan and is priced at ₹150. All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Mukhyamantri Sukhashray Yojana.
Anupama Sharma is not only a gifted writer but also has a keen interest in bike riding, sports, and trekking. Her deep connection with nature is clearly reflected in her writing, leaving a lasting impression on readers.
Education Minister Rohit Thakur, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, and Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani were also present on the occasion alongside the Chief Minister.
