Kaayu Rituals calls for greater awareness of traditional wellness systems alongside modern healthcare
New Delhi : Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of AYUSH, and Minister of State, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Shri Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav congratulated Kaayu Rituals for creating greater awareness of AYUSH systems and their role in the evolving healthcare and wellness landscape and the wellness programme organised by UK-based Ayurvedic wellness brand Kaayu Rituals lead by Indian-Born Preeti Choudhary, Founder and CEO.
The Minister appreciated Kaayu Rituals’ initiative to create wider conversations around wellness and acknowledged the participation of experts representing Ayurveda, modern medicine and contemporary wellness. His remarks also highlighted the relevance of creating greater public awareness around different approaches to health and wellbeing.
The programme marked six months of Kaayu Rituals and featured discussions on areas of wellness that are increasingly becoming part of everyday health conversations. The event included sessions on sexual health and on the relationship between Ayurveda, modern medicine and contemporary lifestyles.
Speaking at the event, Preeti Choudhary, Founder and CEO, Kaayu Rituals, said, “Six months ago, Kaayu Rituals was an idea; today, it is a growing community built around a simple belief that wellness should begin before we become unwell. Our expansion into sexual health and lung health marks an important new chapter for us, but more importantly, it reflects our intent to bring greater awareness, openness and responsibility to areas of everyday health that are often overlooked.”
She added, “We believe Ayurveda, modern medicine and traditional knowledge can contribute to a more holistic conversation when the individual remains at the centre. As we grow, our commitment is to quality, safety, transparency and scientific integrity, because trust is built through every product, every conversation and every person we reach.”
A key session, “Sexual Health in India”, brought together Dr. Jagriti and Dr. Abishes Saha for a discussion on sexual health, fertility, vitality, awareness and preventive care.
The session focused on the need for more informed and open conversations around sexual health and highlighted the importance of approaching such subjects as part of overall wellbeing rather than treating them as isolated areas of healthcare.
The six-month milestone also marked the next phase of Kaayu Rituals’ growth, with the brand expanding its wellness portfolio into categories including sexual health, fertility, vitality and lung health.
The company said it is also exploring further work across women’s wellness, sexual health and mental health, with a focus on awareness, responsible product development and preventive wellness.
The event also featured a session titled “Kaayu Rituals: Behind the Brand”, with Preeti Choudhary, Founder and CEO; Puneet Mittal, Chief Scientific Officer; and Umesh Arora, Head of R&D, COSMOS. The session focused on the brand’s formulation approach, research and development, production processes, quality standards and product development.
