Kumar also said the scientist have successfully schemed the mission to avoid the long eclipse for Mars orbiter.

A long solar eclipse could have pose a serious challenge to the orbiter as it can reduce the durability of the batteries and vulnerable to probable dysfunctional of system by preventing the sun rays from reaching the satellites.
